The astronaut from NASA, Jessica Meir had taken a space selfie and the selfie had captured her reflection in the Space Station and many are saying that if there was an award for the best selfie for the year, it would have gone directly to the astronaut from NASA, Jessica Meir. She tweeted two images from her Twitter account of the spacewalk shenanigans from the 26th of January in 2020.
In one of her photos, she had used a solar planet for reflecting the image and showed that Earth was in the background. The second of the selfies is one with her face as she has her visor up. The observers have been saying that going by her account, she seems to be very pleased to be at the ISS. It is easy to understand though as she is doing a spacewalk and that too using her camera.
The camera is visible clearly in the picture as it was in the protective pouch. Meir who had in addition to Christina Koch, had taken part in the first spacewalk done by women on the 18th of October at the ISS. The spacewalk in October was the first one to be done by Meir. However if it was to be judged from her pictures, she is now pretty accustomed to the EVAs.
Meir is also a biologist and a psychologist apart from an astronaut. As the support scientist for Human Research Facility for the Johnson Space Center in NASA, Meir had been involved in coordinating the experiments on the human life on space in the space shuttles and also in the International Space Station of NASA.
