As the cases for the COVID-19 saw a growth on this Sunday with as many as 127 new patients in Washington, the governor has shut the restaurants, bars and also the recreational and entertainment activities down. This proclamation had been made after the states and the cities all over the country had taken the similar action including the shutting down of the Las Vegas casinos and the restaurants and also bars in the city of New York this order is going to be taking effect from Tuesday onwards.
In Washington, the restaurants are going to be allowed for the providing of takeout and delivery but there is no in-person dining which is going to be allowed. The grocery stores and the pharmacies have been operating normally and the other outlets must be limiting the number of the consumers shopping at the given time. These are decisions which are very difficult but also very necessary for the slowing down of the spreading of this virus as per the statement.
The downtown Spokane had been empty on the night of Sunday and it was not only the streets but also the restaurants. Onion was only having a handful of customers and the other restaurants had been closed as well. After one hour of this announcement, Jesse Pyles had said that there were just 10-15 customers all through the night and he did not know what the repercussion of this was supposed to be. In the biggest of worries where what is going to be happening to these employees. For now their biggest fear is survival. The customers had not been stepping in for lunch too.
